In loving memory of Janice Elaine Brooks of Groesbeck, Texas, who departed this world on October 1, 2025 at the age of 83. Janice leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends.

Janice worked many years at the Waco Cardiology Clinic.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Dickerson and Hilda Dickerson (Becker); her brother Paul Dickerson; and her husband Horace Brooks.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Brooks (Vickie Hinds) and Ricky Brooks of Waco; her grandchildren, Chad, Amber Brooks of Groesbeck, Aaron Brooks of China Spring, Ty Brooks (Kailey) of Salado, Nick and Mandy Beveridge of Groesbeck; her great grandchildren, Keeley and Dooley Brooks of Groesbeck; and her grandchildren, Lily, Marilyn, Emmry Brooks of China Spring, Kruz, River, Oaklynn Brooks of Salado, Aubree, Brynlee and Dakota Beveridge of Groesbeck.
