Ronald Neal Sommer, age 77, of Lewisville, TX passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at his home.
Ronald was born on June 28, 1942 in Saint Joseph, Missouri to his parents: Fred and Katherine Sommer. He proudly served his Nation in the US Navy from 1963-1967.
He is survived by brothers Roger and Rod Sommer; sister, Roxie; 3 nephews, 3 nieces, 9 great nieces and nephews, 2 great-great nieces and a host of other loving family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
Services for Ronald Neal Sommer will be held December 13 at 10:00 a.m. The family of Ronald Neal Sommer has faithfully entrusted Restland Funeral Home, Cemetery and Crematory to handle the arrangements and services for their loved one.

Rod Sommer: “Just want you to know that Ron passed away. I have very few details at this time. I will let you know of funeral plans as soon as I have them. Ron is in heaven and has nothing but peace, joy and happiness surrounding him.”
Rod Sommer: “Ron’s wish was to be cremated, so there will not be a prior visitation.
He also asked that in lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Jude be made.
